Bayton Choir members organise a coach trip each September and the 2002 destination was Lyme Regis.

Some 30 people from the local churches and their friends enjoyed a wonderfully sunny day, wafted from the Clows Top carpark to Lyme Regis seafront by a "Yarra Charra". A great deal of crab sandwich eating and a little walk along the prom as well as a trip out fishing were enjoyed by various people and it put them in good fettle for a fish and chip supper at Ramsdens at Bristol on the way back.
